MGTF 2004 1.8 Front / Rear Bleed Screws 6 years 2 months ago #183719

Hi All

Can someone tell me the size (nut size and thread) of the front and rear brake bleed screws?

Also a recommended break spanner, as I understand that cheapo spanners can round off the flats!

Regards

Robert

Invalid or non-existent item ID.I seem to recall they are an 11 or 12mm fit for spanner.
These will do the job.

I have a slot spanner from yonks ago but I tend now to crack the nipple (oo-er) with a ring spanner or socket, nip it up again less tightly then use an open ender or alternatively leave the ring spanner over the tube.
It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..
