just thought i'd share this i have waxoyled the car and finished it off last weekend completing the front end...
having removed the bumper and inner wheel arches its amazing how much crud had collected behind the plastic behind the sill






All cleared out now and generous ammounts of waxoyl applied no wonder rot can set in with all that to hold water in will probably do an annual strip down to keep it clear going forward ????

How did you apply your waxoyl,,,,did you use the waxoyl spray system?

Did mine recently while replacing front bumper therefor having wheels and wheel arch liners off. Yes, amazing what crud was collected there. After clearing it all out liberal coatings of Waxoil applied with a brush.

I did expensive but decent bit of kit great for the sills and holes with the long wand gotta keep the stuff warm though otherwise it just gloops

Mainly applied by brush to the underbody though seemed less messy

yes always did landrovers with a brush.....used a few spray cans of black waxoyl on my tf around rear arches.....may do the complete car underside next summer :P
