Mike, this is an old thread, i only resurrected it because i had the same issue.
I'm pretty sure when my OBD was working i didn't find any codes. Anyway, as predicted the light has now gone out after a couple of days. in retrospect i think it has been coming on after i've left the engine idling for 10 minutes or so, when checking cooling system after refilling, etc. and stayed on for 2 or 3 days, so i'm more convinced it is an emissions issue.
Must get a better OBD dongle - I previously bought a cheap one on eBay which worked for a while, i'm thinking of spending a bit more on a Vgate dongle - does anyone have experience of this manufacturer's units?
