Anyone experienced the following fault? I'd be happy to learn how to cure it

My sons vvc has erratic revs on tick over & occasionally cuts out (usually on junctions & roundabouts)

After starting, the revs are around 1100 rpm, after the engine gets warm the revs drop & bounces around 800 down to 600, every so often the revs drop to 400 then climbs back to around 800 then suddenly drops to around 200 then stalls.: d

Any clues as to what's causing it & the cure would be greatly appreciated.

With the engine running liberally spray WD40 around the inlet, when the revs stabalize you've found the leak.

Hazarding a guess throttle position sensor,temperature sensor if mems 3 stepper motor could be numerous things i get a diagnostic tool on it,if not ask for a recommended guy off one of the forums if local or prepared to travel.A local garage should not charge too much to diagnose if mems 3 obd 2 compliant 2000 onwards.Depends on the amount of time and patience you have to tinker and swapping parts over to find out it may maybe not the cause.
As this problem just come on you,ruling out you havent any work with the timing recently.
