After purchasing my MG TF some 6 weeks ago I had it fully service and a few cosmetics done, then came the time for me to pick it up and drive it home for the first time. I knew it was low on petrol but driving home I was concentrating so much on driving the car I forgot and after about 2 miles the car started to die, poo I thought I have run out of petrol, so I made a call and a pal came with 5 litres of fuel and we popped it in the tank and turned it over, nothing, could not get it started. So made a few calls and the consensus was that you need at least 10 litres of fuel in the MG tank, anyway we towed it back to the garage from hence we came and put in another 10 litres, 15 in all, still nothing.

Long story shortened, the fuel pump had given out, got a second hand one replaced it and Bob's your uncle started 1st turn.
