MG's weren't shoddily built, it's just history hasn't been kind to them.

The engine cover must not be removed, replacing it will cause your car to blow up..

When waiting at traffic lights etc, raise the revs to 3000 rpm and slip the clutch until a burning smell and blue smoke fill the passenger compartment. This keeps the clutch at its optimum operating temperature. A bit like a racing car. Sort of.

When an old bloke says "Hmm, MG, very nice. I used to have one of them before the war..." improve the image of the modern MG-er by replying: " No offence mate, but I really don't give a ****"
It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

No matter what car you have, adding chrome rear light clusters to it will fool people into believing that it is in fact a Lexus! My mate has a Saxo with 'Lexus' lights and he assures me that people always ask him if its the new Lexus!!

Chrome lights dont make your car look at all tacky!

Putting stickers that list brands of auto parts (that you dont even have installed) on your doors will up your BHP enough the win a drag race against a Ferrari and fools people into thinking your peugeot 106 is a racing car.

Even if you deliberately aim at a bus stop full of orphans and war veterans, ABS will save you.

The carpet above the engine cover is structural.

Hydragas suspension gives you piles.
