The trouble with a lot of 'do it yourself' projects is that they look like it. When it comes to more complicated jobs I have always found it cheaper to get the right man to do the job on the premis that if I worked the extra hours it would take me to, possibly, bodge the whole job I could most probably pay a professional to do the work, as he would require a LOT less hours and produce a better result.

However, there are always exceptions to the rule and this is one ofthe most dramatic I have ever seen :omg:

That looks absolutely top notch - I bet you can't stop grinning every time you get into the car ;)

Dfinately going to use that restorer stuff you have linked to ;)

That, as I said initially, is simply stunning! Gorgeous! :woohoo:

Trouble is I want to do mine now, and I know it would not come out like that.:nonod:

Not as long as I've got a hole in my ........ :omg:

I doubt I would ever hand stitch one again it takes way to long, about 1 metre an hour, some people say sewing is therapeutic but for me it was just really really tedious. However that being said I may be able to borrow a machine for the door cards so if they turn out more professional looking I would probably be tempted to do it again.

Next onto sorting out the bodywork with a panel by panel respray, finally fitting the splitter and spoiler from Paul's deal, just a bit worried summers running out
