i only made pics of assembling the alternator. Disassembling is always a easy game

collector for bosch alternator 0124 and 0123

all parts can be bought here http://www.lima-shop.de/en/ but also somewhere cheaper ;) like bearing and the regulator i bought somewhere else.

While disassembling the alternator the only tricky part is by disconnecting the collector. do not damage the copper contatcs. after disconnecting the collector you have to mill out the collector.
after cleaning everything especially the bearing housing and the shaft assembling is like a kids puzzle.
in my example the diods were ok so no need to change. the regulator was damaged. so u have to check your diods with ohm meter. it has to show something around 0.4-0,7 ohms in one direction.

learned so much from you guys just giving something little back.
changed cambelt alternator belt water pump oil pump and fitted my sump baffle this weekend. everything went good with your help so i thought about posting this little how to.

new alternator = lots of money
new regulator = 24€
