How to remove the windscreen trim
So you all know I'm selling my interior. Well thought I'd give the buyer the windscreen surround too to match.
It takes about 10mins.
Tools required:
Lets begin.
Remove the hood catches * 2
To remove these you need a torx 30 driver and appropriate ratchet handle
Then remove the two sun blinds using a cross head screw driver
Then your ready to start pulling things off.
To make things easier remove the rubber trim a bit that goes around the windscreen.
Then start to push the trim clips out using your trim tools or fingers and brute force or wedge of some sort. As you pull them a bit you will be able to see where the clips are.
I got the trim tool that has a corner on it and just banged away and they all came off easy.
