paulsmgf if your steering wheel is not straight it could be that your tracking was out, I'd get the tracking checked if you haven't already.

no it was fine i was investigating the srs fault so took the wheel off then put it back on squint lol never noticed until the next day

My bloody right hand steering wheel trim screw won't come out so I haven't got past stage one. I spent 10 minutes at the first step! It's stinking hot and humid here at present so I had a sense of humour failure at the stuck screw and thought I'd better leave it be for the moment before I strip something.
I brought a used assembly from the UK for a Land Rover Discovery.
All looks exactly the same as in the photos.

I would like to thank Paul, PQD44 for an excellent ''How To'' for replacing the wiper/lightswitch arms on an MGF or TF.

I managed to snap the wiper arm the other day when trying to use the washers, got a replacement unit from MGFnTFBITZ for £15, followed the guide and job done very easily . great guide, thank you

No probs photo's will be posted in due course. Could get Rob to post some of his as well.

Remember to mark a line where the steering wheel lines up when doing it or you could put it all back together and find it err cockeyed as we say over here.

Yet another job I didn't need to do!

Parts have been ordered.

Fortunately the fellow I bought the parts from didn't have the relay so I can put that job off for another time, but he did sell me a Rover 75 boot release switch. I don't know if it will work, but the price was right.

OK...I've ordered the electronic module as well.
In for a penny and all that
