OK on luggage rack.

Need to look at postage costs, as will be quite big when packed for shipping

Just routed out the key, so is complete.

might be at the weekend when I try and pack it before I can get a posting cost.

In mean time this is now provisionally sold.

Janco, I have the same rack, it's quiet strong. I mainly use it to carry the spare wheel when I have too much luggage for the boot to handle, whith the spare outta the way I have much more room to accommadate luggage that I wish to keep dry and safe from light fingers. I use a Master cable lock to keep the spare in my posession :lol:

Sounds like a good plan Cobber, no need to make it easy for them.

Does it affect the handling at all, moving that weight to the back?

Nah not really, the spare doesn't weigh all that much, and you'll be balancing it out with the luggage up front.
I think there is a recommended weight limit of about 20kg for the boot rack.
The spare sits well on the rack and balances the boot when up so it tends not to try and shut on you..
