Nice pics and nice job on the headlining. Having done ours in leather cloth I know how tricky (and sticky) it can be.
It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

How did you do the soft top? The interior of mine is grubby so this looks like an idea to do. When it is warmer and drier!

That's my hardtop, i would think its pretty impossible to recover the inside of a soft top, cleaning it would be the only way i think.

If you mean the hardtop, you have to take off the front clips, and the 3 push in ones across the rear, and gently take off the thin fiberglass sheet or ''biscuit''. Then you take off your old fabric, get a stiff brush and brush off the thin layer of foam (very messy do it outside!) and then get some spray glue and material of you choice to recover it. only help with that i can give is take your time.

Make sure your spray glue has a high melting point, the inside can get hot in the sun.

Wise words from TC: I didn't realise this the first go, all was well until we went for a blast with the heater on full. :yesnod:
Not put the HT on this year as the soft top leaks slightly less. HT seals hard to get!

I covered my badly stained softop interior with self adhesive felt. Available in many colours from eBay.
Worked a treat and really neatened the look of the car interior. It stayed in place until I eventually replaced the roof with a new one with glass rear screen.:yesnod: :broon:
