  • I cant live without one...cant use corded power tools anymore has the freedom of a battery gun is fantastic...I bought my dewalt dcf899 4 years ago and use it on a daily basis...the beauty with this impact gun is it has 3 settings so you can undo small stuff has well has the heavy duty bolts and nuts...ive used mine on hgv.psv.plant machinery with no problems...dont buy cheap chinky batteries has the rattle from these guns slit there delicate cases....i use the dewalt in a workplace where they have a milwaukee impact gun and i feel there is little or no difference in power output...changing wheels is like a f1 pitstop...but i put gun on lower setting putting nuts back on and then tourque up....ive used this gun on cars and wrecker trucks...good quality impact sockets essential...they are not so good with extention bars on heavy stuff...a 5ah battery is the best for this type of gun...adapters are now available so you can interchange tools with other brands of battery...i bought the dewallt gun bare bones and the charger and battery seperate....i carried on with the dewalt brand has i then bought angle grinder, drills, chainsaw, strimmers etc...ive even got a 9ah battery that is 18v and 54v so it can be used on all manner of kit..... used the gun daily building engines like this this 22 litre merc v12...to just general diy ..with 3 settings and a sensitive trigger control no probs...comes with either a hog ring anvil or a pin type...
