The oil temperature gauge did not work since we bought the car, 1998 MGF. Tested the connection at the instrument and found no 12v power going to it. Replaced blown #17 fuse under the dash and it is working now along with a new/old replacement clock! Was a bit hard to pull out the instruments without removing the whole center dash, but I was able to do it removing the air vent and undoing the 4 screws. The temperature needle move very slowly, getting to about 90. Reading the forum, seems normal. To the next project now……
