And just to round off it off, Pscan can also sync a MGRover (Motorla) MEMS3 ECU to a SAIC MG TF replacing the SAIC (Continental) MEMS3 ECU. (And then load SAWS re-map if you wish)

Done a few essential shooping trips now and all good.  All features work as per SAIC spec, Boot Remote, Alarm, Rev Light , Door Locking on move off etc.

The advantage of a MGRover ECU in Chinese MG TF is that it can be maped via the OBD port.  The SAIC (Continental) one can not, it has to be removed and programmed directly. This seems to lead to problems with checksum error and Radiator and Engine Bay fans running all the time at normal operating temperature. Even in freezing temperatures.
