Pscan has been working for several years on my Windows 10 laptop, however, I have gone to use it just now, and it does not seem to recognise the interface.
I get the message "Virtual Machines are not Supported" in pscan
I have tried it on my other laptop, with the same results.
I have removed and re-added the Interface drivers, and tried a few thing with no luck.
The only thing I think it maybe is the laptops were upgraded to version 20H2 of Windows 10 since I last used it
You are welcome to use my ZT for testing (although with cruise not working that maybe an issue!) Im just north of Oxford though....
My ZT 190 is full spec, and thus as all the options/ecus if you wanted to use the chance to do more 75/ZT work. In fact, its rarely used these days.
It would be great if PSCAN could replicate the T4 with the 75/ZT , the abilty to match IPK/s ECMS, and general programming. The only thing non-T4 that coudl do more is TOAF, and thats pretty underdeveloped to be fair, and hence, I dont really like to use it.
Hi I have had a PSCAN for a few years, and I find it is an excellent tool for use on my Rover Coupe VVC & MG ZT 190. but I wondered if it would be possible to add the abilty to PSCAN to program new 5AS units with a country code / Model?
When 5AS units are purchased new, they need to be programmed with a T4. There are still quite a few new 5AS units about, and it woudl be great to be able to program them (I have 2) but also it would allow the interchange of 5AS between models (i.e. the 200 & 400 - there are some differneces to how the 5AS units behave between the models (Bonnet latch is one I know of)
Details from the Rover Technical Bullitin:-
ECU programming:
The new 5AS ECU can only be programmed using TestBook CD - DRE0001
onwards. Use TestBook ‘Diagnostics’ to program ECU.
Select: ‘Security’ - ‘Programming Options’ - ‘Market Program’.
This TestBook sequence will then allow ECU programming to the correct
vehicle type and territory.
NOTE: 400 series 97.5 MY onwards (automatic and manual) and 96 MY (1.6
automatic) cannot be programmed with DRE0001, for these models use
DRE0002.

Hi I have had a PSCAN for a few years, and I find it is an excellent tool for use on my Rover Coupe VVC & MG ZT 190. but I wondered if it would be possible to add the abilty to PSCAN to read fault codes, and live data inputs from the Cruise control ECU on Rover 75's and MG ZT's with the KV6 Engine. Im having trouble with my cruise control setup on my ZT 190 V6, and im having trouble getting to the bottom where the issue is
