Sorry for the lare reply. I'm not 100% sure exactly what they did, but briefly one or both of the valves that you refil the suspension was leaking so they tightened these up. Some greasing here and there then re-pump up the suspension. Now as good as new.

Had my suspension serviced at Fawley Garage, they knew exactly what they were doing and it's now working flawlessly. Anone in SO45 and the surrounding areas I can't recommend them highly enough.

Thanks for the reply Airportable. After a couple of searches, it would seem that particular mirror isn't on any other car other than the MGF/TF (I'm sure that can't be true!). I agree with you about a breaker's yard.

Hi all, I noticed that the right hand lens for the rear view mirror courtesy light is missing. After a quick web search and it seems it's not available, only the complete mirror assembly which I don't need. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement? Here's a photo of the item I need.

Hi all, well I got the MGF serviced along with just a gearbox oil change. I did ask if the garage
-ShawFix Autos, Hythe, SO45 great guys -
that if a filter could be sourced, fit one please. However, no such luck. I spoke to Brown & Gammons and was told they recieved a shipment of filters but they weren't of a suitable quality, so back they went. So perhaps all may not be lost, in the not too distant future a new supply may be on the way.

My other thoughts are change the oil fairly often.

Thanks Steve, it's not the oil I can get that but the filter. I'll try a BMW dealership or specialist as they must use something in their cars

It appears it's no longer made. A bit of a surprise as the gearbox is used in other cars too.
