My Mgtf engine bay sound proof liner is falling to bits. Any suggestion of the best way to repair it. I am considering buying a roll of self adhesive aluminium faced sound insulation to cover the felt. So has anyone any experience of trying this or any other suggestions
Hi I have 2004 TF135 couple of questions I have a 2 velcro strip hanging down from the the hood 1 each side as per photo any ideas what and where these fix. Second question the rear screen is pretty cloudy but the rest of the hood is in good condition so I am reluctant to replace the whole hood. So can you suggest the best restoring product to get it somewhere near clear!
Just started up the car and tapping noise coming from the engine oil pressure seems fine and it runs smoothly sounds like a tappet!. All suggestions very welcome.
Can anyone recomend a good place to have my spare key fob checked out and programmed in Norwich or Norfolk. When we purchased the car the vendor said it just needed a new battery and guess what ? I've given the various recommended methods a try but no success so any help would be very much appreciated
Good morning Mike
They are great photos and I can see completely how it all works don't underate yourself😉. I really appreciate all your help👍.
P.s it's nice to know someone else has a garage as full as mine.
I'm thinking about storing my hardtop in its storage bag by hanging it from the garage rafters by the storage bag handles due to a lack of any other suitable option. It's a flat roof garage and I would fit hanging hooks screwed into the bottom of the rafters as the roof has a plaster board ceiling. So has anybody any experience of this or anything similar?
