Hi

I have nearly talked myself into buying a TF BUT it would be a daily driver. Is this really practical?

Thanks for taking the time to answer

Definitely can be your daily driver. I am currently covering about 700 miles a week in mine.

I get the odd look when i turn up at a construction site put on my boots, hi viz and hard hat but it makes me smile when i drive it and you can enjoy a bit of fun.

I have changed my routes to some of my sites so that i use A and B roads rather than motorways as i would have done in my Ford Mundane Eurobox.

GO FOR IT!!
All work and no play just makes me grumpy

I often set off to work at 5.30 am with the roof down in mine.

The only downside to the F when compared to the ZS as a daily driver is that I can't wear my steel toe capped boots when driving the F.

If it's dry the roof is down day or night (when I'm on my own).
I've even had it down in light snow.

My problem with work boots is clutch and gas control as my ankles are at fixed angles.

Occasionally, in winter, you get a nice sunny afternoon that makes it all so very worthwhile. :broon:

At least you do, until it gets dark at 4:30 :P

id love to drop the roof in the snow bet you get some interesting looks though lol

only issue im having at the moment is I think my throttle cables a little loosly adjusted as theres a bit of play resulting in delayed throttle response which is causing a little bit of annoyance in crawling traffic ..I either over rev it or dont give it enough revs and nearly stall it ..think I may adjust it over the weekend got a few things to do on it anyway so may aswell add summet else

the mrs loves me owning this car .....not!!
