Bought a 1.6 Cool Blue back in September in England then drove it back through France and then down to Almeria in Spain 1250 miles, cost 220 Euro's in fuel .
Only problem with car was the central locking not working from day one ! well if it was fitted would help! any wife got fed up with keep reaching over to open passengers door so decided to fit but then found out needed ECU reprograming and a bit hard over here, so as I had a after market car alarm in my garage ordered two solenoids from ebay for 12 pounds.
Fitted Sunday and all works brill only problem when you open and shut boot arms factory fitted alarm so pulled wire to boot and problem solved, total cost for central locking and new alarm 12+22 = 34 think I will order another two solenoids as spares just in case.
Forgot to say starter solenoid packed up last week but we have a good spares shop but not for the bosch starter so pulled solenoid and cleaned contacts and replaced brushes and now as good as new.
Next job fit aircon.
