I was losing a small amount of coolant and couldn't trace it. However, when I was fitting the oil pressure sensor for my new gauge I got dripped on by pink liquid. Coolant leak found! It was an external head gasket leak by the exhaust manifold. It was mainly evaporating before it hit the ground.

My ZT was loosing coolant and I was tempted to get Russell in to do the head gasket. In the end my local MG garage fixed my problem the head had two small cracks one by a valve. My car has had a cold start cutting out problem for over a year .Turned out the crack or perhaps the small gasket leak I had was causing this. My car's all better now and no more cutting out,I had a new head fitted so my car runs great now :woo2: .Sadly though my wallet is £700 lighter. :(

Shades of I love work, I could watch it all day. I'm sure that's not Russell though as I understand the real man (saint) has a halo. Anyway, what did he do about fixing the leak?

I've tasked me Julie with a 'find some Cumberland sausages' mission after reading this post.

Anyway, it's far, far better to be a saint than one of the numerous sinners out there. ;)

Should be find some PROPER Cumberland sausage. :yesnod: Some of the rubbish purporting to be the real deal is depressing.
Should be a big coil , not links, should also be 98% meat with the rest being seasoning.
