As long as I've had the F there has been a very slow leak from the rear left tyre, I'd replaced the valve core, but that made no difference.
I was just going the put up with keeping an eye on the tyre pressure until I got around to replacing the tyres.
But over the last 2 weeks the leak has got worse.
I went to reinflate the tyre today and noticed the wheel is cracked!
So now I'm on the hunt for a standard alloy wheel to suit a 97 MGF 1.8 MPI

Forgive the picture quality, it was taken with the crappiest phone I've ever had, a shitbox Samsung S4

These guys are good, and they have loads of wheels for around £12 each with only a tenner postage.

The early F wheels always leaked air, the corrosion on the inside area of the wheel (only primed) causes the air to leak out between the paint and metal. i have one rear that is dropping pressure from 28psi to 15psi in about a week. Plenty of Mpi wheels available here in the UK for good prices, but expensive to ship to you, I should imagine. :-?

You are looking at £59 delivery charge to Australia if sent by UPS via Transglobal Express. If you have any other small bits you need you should be able to put them in the package and not pay anymore provided they are less than a couple of Kgs

Thanks, but I should be able to get one here for less than the freight cost.
