Morming All,
I have a problem with my speedo and EPAS and I have feeling that it is at the speedo end, mine is the old mechanical type.
I need to get to the instruments to check, but the binnacle already has a crack and I don't want to make it worse.
I have checked the 'How To's' but can't seem to find instructions to safely access/remove the instrument cluster. Can some kind person please point me in the right direction?

If you look at my how to for adding plasma dials that :yesnod: shows you how to access the pod.

Obviously that is a mk2 cluster but apart from the connections on the back, removal is the same.

Cheers, David, I've just been through the thread and further down talkingcars touches on the Mk1. Just hope the weather holds out for the afternoon!

I've separated the info out for the removal and put it into a specific 'how to' to make it easier to find in future. :broon:

It will most likely be the gearbox end the drive gear strips and when the speedo docent work the EPAS sensor won't pick up any movement and switches off.
