If there can be delays isn't it worth getting the order in early?

He can only do one at a time.

I expect people to pay up front, so somebody could pay and be waiting more than a year, so I would rather keep it to a one at a time basis.

Well I'm interested but it's going to be at least 6 months before I have the spare cash available so one at a time suits me fine.

I'll get in touch about it in the new year and see where we are on time scale.

Thanks Clive.

Perhaps it's time for another run of them that is Clive and the manufacturer/craftsman is up for it.

How would one carry a spare wheel with one as noticed it was aproblem in the post. Is this solvable with out major hassle or surgery?

Edit:- Should have added that the bonnet on "Elsie" my VVC needs repainting anyway so something is going to have to happen, re-spraying or replacing, early next year.

If you don't duct then you can carry a spare wheel, but you would need very fine mesh otherwise the wheel would be visible.

I have ducted mine, but it is a one off as it is mostly welded into the engine bay, with a removeable section, which allows me to carry a spare wheel.

Thank you I thought I recalled that you removed the wheel well and reversed it. Beyond my skills at sheet work so wil try to print off the photos, with your permission, and show them to the body work chap. Will have a go at removign the wheel well from teh shell on the drive to start with.

Feel free.

I also had to "fettle" where the ARB passes under the wheel well and move the well several inches to wards the offside of the car, which meant moving the ABS modulator slightly.

This was because the valve unit of the brake master cylinder stopped the wheel being lifted in/out.

Some fettling of the battery tray and fuse box to move the battery back slightly was done too.
