Jeez, I know that mould and stuff grows quick, but wooooo. That is some heavy duty glop for a months growth.

I think that perhaps an Evil Lifeform is at large in your car. :yesnod:

And that stuff is its demon seed.

Then again, it's probably just mould...

Well there is good news, after a day day spent stripping out and scrubbing everything with 25% vinegar solution, a nice long dry in the sun, followed by leather cleaner and finally a leather conditioner I'm happy to say everything is salvageable and the Seats and door cards have come up a treat. The steering wheel will need recovering but that's fine as I have got a spare as recovering was always the plan. the forces of niceness have triumphed over the evil life-form that invaded my poor defenseless F. :woohoo:

Well done Craig! When I looked at the first post I could hardly believe it, what a horrifying sight. You've done really well as mold can sometimes leave immoveable stains on material.

They do say bad luck comes in threes, in which case things should start looking up for you now.

Look forward to seeing you back on the road/track soon. :drive:

Very nice job. :broon:

Did you get a priest in for exorcism? ;)

I invoked Vometia and Flatulus if that counts.

I've found things like that in my fridge before.

I would spray something through the blower system as it might be full of mould too and blow it in your face while driving.

Hmmm good point, I don't fancy a face full of demon seed from the evil lifeform, driving or otherwise :hgf:

I'm told that there's blokes who do that sort of thing for fun! :omg:

Seeing the sorry state of your steering wheel, I have a standard one in good nick that you could use whilst getting the other recovered.
