Your best driving song? 9 years 7 months ago #150433

I have a vectra, really good spec with a 6 disk changer built into the head unit. In there i have 6 different genre's of music, from hard rock to very easy listening.

Seeing as my "F" only takes one cd at a time i bought myself some blank cd's and a cd wallet. the plan is to fill it with lots of cd's for sunshine, roof down music. But, i keep finding that im burning the same kind of cd's all the time.

So, whats your best roof down driving song? The one that gives you a little chill down the spine while driving your mg.

I'll start with mine - Blue Oyster cult - Don't fear the reaper.

6 dick changer sounds interesting. Disk maybe? :P

One song? Difficult choice... George Thorogood and the Destroyers - Bad to the Bone.

My soundtrack is almost always - Daytona!

It's really to much of a subjective question, can depend on so many things, my mood, what time of day it is, where i am going to, who i am seeing etc etc and technically speaking i can't drive my MG. Like you i listen to a bit everything, and as a teenager growing up in the 90's in the north west when the "madchester" scene kicked off i've always been a massive fan of "the stone roses" so if i had to pick one, it would probably be I am the resurrection by the stone roses extended version ofc

Having watched it a couple of weeks ago, I'd have to say the sound track of Alpha Papa would be almost ideal, although mostly it's either engine noise or some Queens of the Stone Age for me.

Being an Old Fart:

I agree with Don't Fear the Reaper. :broon:
Reeling in the Years: Steely Dan
Blowin Free: Wishbone Ash
And the ultimate right foot pressure increaser.......

Born to be Wild: Steppenwolf. B)
It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..
