Seen anything unusual whilst you were out? 9 years 7 months ago #149493

This was at a classic car rally so perhaps it doesn't count but I couldn't resist it.

And yes it was a wet day although it cheered-up later on.

This one doesn't even use petrol or diesel

Starting at £57,000 for this version

270 kW (362 hp)
5.4 seconds 0-60 mph
125 mph top speed

Quite Jaguar...ish at first glance

Seen today...

OK, the front is not that special (nice though)

It gets more interesting at the back...

The carb arrangement (looks bike to me) is interesting too

I couldn't find the owner - I'd have liked to know more.

i (lord knows how) walked away as passenger from an imp losing it's back end at 60mph, off camber drop, rolled, ending up in a river, nose up, and we climbed out through the windscreen aperture.

so 100bhp would clearly be entertaining at least. :drive:

Passed yesterday on the Kessock Bridge while driving northwards by a convoy of Dutch registered sports cars. Two Cobras in the head followed by 2 Donkervoort S7s with an Austin Healey 3000 Mk3 with works hard top as the rear marker. I guess they were all heading to John O'Groats (named after a Dutch guy Jan de Groot). Sorry no pictures as I was driving but I got a great view as it was a 50MPH stretch of dual carrigeway end everyone was behaving - more or less. Forget the TT and the Daytona, the exhaust noise from the Corbras even at 50 was awesome - mind you the guys driving them we wearing headsets.

Went to Blackpool on Sunday and there must've been a classic car show nearby.

Saw 3 capris, a mk1 escort Mexico, a stag and a ford prefect.

Past one of these on the motorway.

(Probably only one left!!)

Saw this the other day, the Austin was rare, but the MGF without HGF was even rarer!
