MG TF 160 - Breaking - all parts for sale

2002 MG TF 160 in Le mans Green



Car is located in Cheshire near to Manchester airport.

Parts available:

The 160 bhp VVC engine with its new head gasket, bolts, water pump and belts (which was bought for £500) can be seen and examined running.

If you're thinking of doing the engine swap then changing the clutch is a good idea whilst the engine is out. This one has just had a brand new clutch fitted (receipt available), so I believe the engine/clutch/gearbox combo make it very attractive proposition as it's as much work to change the engine as it is to swap the combo over.

Engines sold on ebay are also nothing more than a block and head, so that leaves alloy inlet manifold, alloy plenum, 52mm throttle body, starter motor, alternator, oil cooler, exhaust manifold, etc.

MEMS 3 ECU and engine wiring harness, fuel pump, etc, etc ...

The interior is Black TF - Center console with clock, oil temp, switches, door cards, T-Bar with rear speakers and MK2 cloth seats in good condition, useful to someone wanting to upgrade an early F.

Boot, bonnet, doors all ok with no overspray ( click here for full story and more photos) in Le Mans Green. Bumpers both have only minor marks...

Headlights and rear lights .... brake master cylinder, clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder, the TF snorkel, windscreen wiper motor and arms, etc, etc.

The body shell is straight and sound .

The green soft top hood is now sold.

how much for the door cards and the speedo surround and the speedo housing(the bit on the top)??

Does it by chance have stainless coolant pipes fitted?

paulsmgf ... side air intakes, nearside good, offside has some distortion to it? think someone tried to glue it and it has warped slightly.

Rooky1 ... cooling pipes not SS, very good condition mild steel

How much would you want for the pipes if they aren't too rusty
