Hello Iám Diana, and i have an MGF 1.8i charcoal black. We've last put on some new twist of pepper wheels and a new Red top. Now when my husband has time he is going to put on a new trevor taylor MK7 exhaust system.

We have also an irritating noise coming out of the right front end. we believe that has to do with the rubbers so we've also ordered some new powerflex rubbers.

that's all for now
Diana

:welcome2:

What kind of noise? Because the suspension looks very low. It looks as if the hydragas needs pumped up. :yesnod: That would cause rubbing noises.
Also a lot of creaking - squeaking noises are down to lack of grease in the top suspension arms. There are 4 grease nipples on the MGF, one on each top arm.

Hello all thank you for your reply's the hydrogas bolls are filled up now and the car is standing at a "normal" heigt now but the squaking is coming out of the right hand side. Can you tell me where the grease niples are so we can try that.

The noise is quite irritating but it comes from the right hand side

I hope you can help us out.

Kind regards
Diana

Hello and welcome to the T bar. Here's a snap of when I did my grease nipples on my old F they are easy to see once you clean off the years of dirt covering them. The best way to find them is take off the wheels. There are four, one in each corner.
