Hi,
Just joined having recently acquired a 2002 MGF in solar red (a very late F!). Been around MGs for years having owned one of the early from new Fs in the 90s and restored a Midget and MGB. The new one is a winter project just for a bit of fun.

Would be interested in the VIN, the last MGF was born on 3rd January 2002, and as yours was registered after 1st March 2002 then it was close to the end.

My 51 reg is obviously a bit before then end but how long before I wonder? Here is the VIN and I'd be grateful for any info:

VIN SARRDWBGB2D533128 Engine: 18K4FM10463783

Also while it is a 1.8i, the original (I believe) seats in ash mirage are the 1.6 pattern (ie without the mirage inserts in the bolster) which makes me curious as to why.
