We're not exactly local being in the Midlands, but it's not a bad run.

yep we got family in South Yorks (we hailed from Doncaster 14yrs ago) and take Myfanwy for a run up there to see them quite often, (although motorway all way is boring !!!)

We lived in N Yorks for years when I worked at Drax: very familiar with dear old Donny!

Used to drink with a workmate in Thorne.

I am only 20 minutes away, just finding the time is the hard bit

What could be better than driving your F & meeting fellow owners for a get together
If your that close it would be a great shame to miss out
These events are a rarity at present & need to be supported.

Not personally, but could be a bit brass monkeys for camping!
Also, many of the breed get tucked away in t'garage for the winter......

Sithmaull,besides weather considerations you need to think about the people that have to go to work on the Monday.
Therefore a Sat. meet would probably be better for them than a Sunday Depends if they like a drink
Personally. as I'm retired, Sunday would be favorite & better for you I would think.
