A new event for us all to look forward to this year.

2014 is the year of Friends Round Manchester - The Ian McCulloch aka Touchstone memorial run.

All F/TF's welcome, lets put aside any forum rivalries for this one as it's all for a really good cause, a great chance to pay your respects to the memory of a top bloke and make it happen this year

Ian was a good friend and a great bloke all around. A fitting tribute.

On the very off chance that I still have the TF I'll say yes, hoping not so so will probably be a big fat no.

Just a thought - Noticed the events section was a bit quiet - could this be added to the events page and Mr Ping do his magic with inviting people to raise awareness?

Sniperpenguin & Bosworthian are coming up from Wales for this, maybe you could get a bit of a convoy going.
I've said we could hook up with the Wales peeps on the way up if they are coming past Cheshire.

I've just read this and I'm shocked. Ian was a great fellow, always willing to help and he loved to talk all things MG Rover. He will be missed by myself and the many other friends he made on the forums.

I really want to make this run but unfortunately I'll be setting off on my holidays the same morning it takes place.

I will happily contribute to what ever charity has been chosen. Have a good run everyone I'm sure Ian would approve.

Thought a quick 'Bump' was in order

Meet up from 7 pm onwards for a chat,drink etc

Why?

Well why not really
Its a chance for a good meet up a run and plenty of shandies afterwards.
And if that's not enough we can all raise some money for a good cause at the same time.
